Kalandra, Petr (10.3.1950-8.9.1995)

folk-rock-blues singer and guitarist, known as a member of Marsyas. A part of his life spent in the U.S.A. which influenced both his musical and personal way of life. Singing rock'n'roll since his age of 13 with Karkulka. In 1968 singing in the streets together with Jaroslav Hutka. Co-founder of Marsyas in 1973. After Marsyas breakup in 1985 working as studio musician, recording two solo albums, also taking part in Jan Spaleny's ASPM sessions. Several temporarily re-unoins of Marsyas and solo concert tours with former Marsyas members and guests (Nejezchleba, Skala, Charypar, Konrad) broken by his serious illness in June 1995.
