Krasne nove stroje
cultic alternative band from Kolin. Founded in 1982, original jazzrock sound changed through the time, influenced by different musical trends, sometimes even predicted them (wind section in the funky style long before the funky fashion). In the late 1980s the band fell silent for almost 4 years, coming back in the early 1990s with new desire to play and record. After 13 years of existence, they finally issued the first official album (4), which unfortunately represents just one of the later stages of the band's development (though an interesting one: combination of guitar music with wind section, excursions to jazz and hard rock, sliced with declamation of satirical verse). The second album (5) is a crazy combination of hard (even punk) music with brass music, less melodical but bursting with energy. After that, the band unfortunately limited its activities to occasional performances.
