Became famous as a member od the Patti Smith Group (guitar & keyboard player on the first four albums, also a songwriter, e.g. "Dancing Barefoot" on "Wave"). After departure from Patti Smith Group, he worked together with many stars like Iggy Pop and John Cale. After the revolution of 1989 he develops many activities in the Czech Republic (though he stays in the USA). He comes regularly to play on concerts, records his own CD's, produces CD's of several local rock & pop stars (Garaz, Lucie, Mnaga a Zdorp, Janek Ledecky & others).
