Eva Olmerova (21.1.1934 - 10.8.1993)

the most important Czech woman jazz & blues singer of 60's to 80's. Beginnings in 1962 in "Semafor" theatre, Prague. In 1965 turning to rock music for a while, singing with Mefisto Rock Band. Return to jazz, blues & gospel soon. Having learned a lot from older Czech woman jazz singer Vlasta Pruchova, became several younger singers' role model herself  (Marta Kubisova, Jitka Zelenkova, Irena Budweiserova). Albums #3. and #4. done in cooperation with Michael Kocab.
