This was a kind of secret concert. No ads, no social media, resulting in no audience. It was a part of a celebration of a kind of town anniversary, so there were four town officials, and then there were four other people. The official part was over after some speech and three songs by Jakub, of which I heard two. Fortunately, the unofficial part took place in the garden of a nearby restaurant. Jakub went on plaing guitar and singing for about an hour, and it was fantastic. He played some old songs of his (Připomínáš déšť), as well as newer ones, and even some covers that he normally does not play (well, he does Waltzing Matilda with his own lyrics, but I never heard him singing Beatles in English). In addition to that, he talked a bit about old times, e.g. about his singing together with Oldřich Janota in 1970s. Those were the times. But even today, it was really pleasant time. I wish there were more people. Jakub would deserve that.
